Who we are

My name is George Kordan, and I would like to take care of the landscape maintenance needs for your home or office. We have been caring for peoples yards since 2005, working in Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, Hyde Park, and West Roxbury. It’s a job I love and we try to make a living doing so.

I grew up in JP, on Jamaica Street, and I attended Boston Public Schools. There is “no place like home”, so the saying goes. I loved growing up here, with the Arnold Arboretum and Pond so close by, as well as city life all around.

Now I live in Roslindale, on Poplar Street. The same sense of community that I grew up with is evident here in Rozzi. While walking to the Square to do my shopping, seeing the people of this city, brings to mind an appreciation for living here in Boston.

The name of the business came to be from going door to door with a used lawnmower, asking homeowners if I could mow the lawn. We have developed into a year round service providing leaf clean-up, snow removal, spring cleaning, and mulch installation.

My goal is to provide for your landscape maintenance needs, in a professional manner, with hardworking, friendly, reliable people, so you don’t have to worry about your yard.

    We look to support our neighborhoods in multiple ways.

    One important way is to support other locally owned business’s. When making purchases for our operating needs, we look first to a locally owned business to fill the need.

  • Operating since 2005

    This business started in 2005 as a way to to clear snow for my neighbors. It then grew into a lawn mowing service to fill a need. Leaves had to get done, so here we are cleaning leaves.

  • We work in only four neighborhoods

    Our service area contains only Jamaica Plain, Roslindale, West Roxbury, and Hyde Park. We do this to allow for a more managed experience.

    There was a time we went all over. It spread us thin. We want to do our job well, and this provides us the ability to do so.
